About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah — a full-time teacher with over 12 years of experience in both mainstream and specialist settings. I hold a degree in Primary Education and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I’ve taught a wide range of pupils, including those with EHCPs, SEMH needs, and neurodivergent profiles. I completed ELKLAN speech and language training in 2016 and have also undertaken trauma-informed practice training. Alongside my classroom role, I offer one-to-one tutoring for primary-aged children who need extra support.

I specialise in working with children who are anxious, neurodivergent, or find school overwhelming. I bring a calm, patient approach and take time to build trust. Each session is shaped around what your child needs — whether that’s movement breaks, visual prompts, or time to talk things through.

I’ve supported children with a wide range of needs and worked closely with families on EHCPs, One Plans, and behaviour or sensory support. That experience helps me to tailor each session thoughtfully and realistically.

I tutor after school and during school holidays, offering a familiar, flexible space where children can feel safe and supported.
